CAYUGA — Mrs. Helen O’Donnell, 78, of Cayuga, died Wednesday, Dec. 15 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She had been a patient there since Monday. Born Jan. 12, 1893, in Rockford, Ill., she was the daughter of Delbert E. and Sadie Johnson Trahern. She was married to Harold L. O'Donnell Nov. 3, 1923, who survives. Mrs. O'Donnell attended Rockford College and was a graduate of Northwestern University. Other survivors include two cousins, Mrs. Ruth Ogilby of Rockford and Mrs. Harry Pierson of Long Beach, Calif.; a niece, Mary Ann O'Donnell of Indianapolis, and a nephew, Malcolm Porter of Miami, Fla. Services were 2 p.m. Saturday at the Watson Funeral Home. The Rev. Jacob Vellenga officiated. Burial was in the Eugene Cemetery. --typed by Walt W
